We are delighted to announce that the Polish Music Centre in Peterborough has been awarded funding from The Senate of Republic of Poland as part of the “Senate – Polonia 2025” programme.

The funded project is titled:
“Supporting the Functioning of Polish Community Organisations in the United Kingdom.”

Thanks to this support, in 2025 we will be able to further develop our Centre’s activities and create new opportunities for the Polish community in Peterborough.

What will the project include?

Free group classes for children and young people – nurturing musical talent and creativity.
A Polish community choir – connecting generations and fostering bonds through singing.
Student concerts – special events to meet, celebrate, and enjoy Polish culture together.

This is a unique opportunity for Polish music and culture to resonate more widely – not just on stage, but in the hearts of our community.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the “Wspólnota Polska” Association, the lead partner of this project. With their support, we can make our dreams a reality and create a space where Polish identity, language, and traditions thrive through music.

Z radością informujemy, że nasz projekt Polskie Ognisko Muzyczne w Peterborough otrzymało wsparcie finansowe z Kancelarii Senatu RP w ramach programu „Senat – Polonia 2025”.

Projekt, który otrzymał dofinansowanie, nosi tytuł:
„Wsparcie funkcjonowania struktur organizacji polonijnych w Wielkiej Brytanii”.

Dzięki temu wsparciu w 2025 roku będziemy mogli rozwijać działalność naszego Ogniska i otworzyć nowe możliwości dla polskiej społeczności w Peterborough.

Co planujemy w ramach projektu?

Darmowe zajęcia grupowe dla dzieci i młodzieży – rozwijające pasję do muzyki i talentu artystycznego.
Chór polonijny – łączący pokolenia i budujący więź poprzez wspólne śpiewanie.
Koncerty uczniów – wyjątkowe wydarzenia, podczas których będziemy mogli spotkać się, celebrować i cieszyć polską kulturą.

To wyjątkowa szansa, aby polska muzyka i kultura rozbrzmiewały jeszcze głośniej – zarówno na scenach, jak i w sercach naszej społeczności.

Serdecznie dziękujemy Stowarzyszeniu “Wspólnota Polska”, które pełni rolę oferenta projektu. Dzięki ich wsparciu możemy realizować nasze marzenia i tworzyć przestrzeń, w której polska tożsamość, język i tradycje rozwijają się poprzez muzykę.
