Funding from the Institute for the Development of the Polish Language

We are delighted to announce that the Polish Music Centre in Peterborough has received financial support from the Institute for the Development of the Polish Language under the programme “Polish Language, Polish Soul – Supporting Activities Promoting the Polish Language and Culture.”

Funding details:

• Project title: “Poland on Stage, Kids in Action – Polish Music Centre in Peterborough”

• Grant amount: 311,403.40 PLN

• Total project value: 333,803.40 PLN

• Agreement signed: September 2025

Thanks to this support, we will not only be able to continue our mission of promoting Polish culture and language among children and young people, but also secure our own premises for the Centre. This new home will host music lessons, rehearsals, concerts, and workshops, becoming a true cultural hub for the Polish community in Peterborough.

The second pillar of this initiative is the organisation of an educational theatre performance for children – “Red, Green and Yellow” – which will be coming to Peterborough on 8 November 2025.

This funding is a great recognition of our work and proof that our efforts have a real impact on the development of young talents. We would like to sincerely thank the Institute for the Development of the Polish Language for their trust and support, as well as our partner, Fundacja Młode Pokolenia, who acted as our applicant and made this funding possible.
