About Pinwheel International CIC

We are a migrant-led, community-driven organisation based in Peterborough, supporting migrant and minority communities to overcome barriers, build confidence and create stronger, healthier lives through creativity, education and community action.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, connected and valued. Whether someone has recently arrived in the UK, is raising a young family, experiencing loneliness or simply looking for a place to belong, we create welcoming spaces where people can access support, build relationships and grow in confidence.

Our programmes combine music, arts, wellbeing, education and community development because we know that creativity is much more than self-expression. It improves mental health, strengthens social connections, develops new skills and empowers people to participate fully in community life.

Everything we do is shaped with the people we serve. We listen first, co-design our projects with local communities and respond to real needs rather than assumptions. This community-led approach helps us create services that are relevant, inclusive and sustainable.

Alongside delivering creative programmes, we support community organisations, volunteers and local leaders through training, partnership working and capacity building, helping communities become stronger from within.
