Our Projects

The Polish Music Centre in Peterborough is a unique initiative dedicated to nurturing the musical talents of children and young people of Polish heritage, while promoting Polish culture in the United Kingdom. The Centre continues the tradition of Polish music schools, while also adapting to the needs of a multicultural society and modern arts education. The Centre also serves as a professional development hub for musicians and teachers of Polish heritage living in the United Kingdom. We offer specialist training, methodological workshops, and mentoring programmes that support and empower educators.

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) is Poland’s largest non-profit initiative, raising funds to support public healthcare. Since 1993, it has provided modern medical equipment to hospitals, especially for children and seniors. Each January, its Grand Finale unites communities through concerts, auctions, and events worldwide.

The Cultural Door to Bengal project celebrated and explored Bengali culture in Peterborough. Engaged the local community in workshops showcasing Bengali music, crafts, and dance. We worked with artists from Calcutta, offered hands-on experiences in traditional crafts, music and dance. Our goal was to bridge cultural divides, fostering curiosity and understanding among diverse audiences with a showcase during the UNESCO-recognised Durga Puja celebrations

​The Aplauz Festival in Peterborough is a vibrant celebration of Polish children's and youth music, uniquely held outside Poland. Established in 2017, the festival provides a platform for young performers to showcase their talents and connect with their cultural heritage.
